  • "I have been working with Catherine for about 2 years now. In that time Catherine has always provided a comfortable space for me, free of judgement and a space where I feel I can share anything that I need. This is the most important aspect of therapy for me and one that is definitely fulfilled. I have seen a difference in my anxiety level and confidence level since working together. I am much more comfortable accepting the present for what it is as well as loosening my grip on trying to control my future. I’ve also come to realize so many things about how I came to be who I am today, all different perspectives that Catherine showed me.

  • "Catherine taught me how to finally live my life with authenticity. By recognizing and working through unhelpful patterns of behavior, Catherine showed me how to understand the origins of these patterns with compassion and gave me the tools I needed in order to begin to act with agency. Not only did Catherine validate my past and present experiences, but she taught me how to validate them for myself going forward. By modeling the care and compassion that I hadn’t received as a child, Catherine helped me to truly understand that what I felt was important and to always honor those feelings. Because of my time working with Catherine I am able to consistently remind myself of my own value and trust that I will continually show up for myself. I live now with the assurance that I will no longer continue to abandon myself. I will be grateful for the rest of my life for the ways that Catherine gave myself back to me. With absolute confidence I can say that I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for the work I've done with her.""

  • "I've been in therapy on and off for over half of my life, starting at twelve years old. After seeing multiple therapists, Catherine was the one that was finally able to help me make a difference in my life. With her incredible knowledge, experience, and care, we were able to work through workplace anxiety, family and childhood trauma, and my relationship with my body. Most, if not all, of the issues in my life that I had struggled with for over a decade have been addressed by working with Catherine in just under two years. Because of Catherine, I am finally able to overcome anxiety in healthy ways and am able to challenge my negative thoughts. I am accepting of my body and my gender identity, and am able to think things through logically. These practices have spilled over into my career as an educator, and I regularly advocate for self-love and acceptance in my classroom.  Catherine could not have come into my life at a better time. Because of her, I was able to leave a toxic work environment and find a much better job, make amends with family members I had previously shut out, and lay the groundwork for a successful and happy life.  I encourage anyone who is seeking help to work with Catherine. She is truly the best mental health professional I've ever had the privilege of working with. Thank you, Catherine!"

  • "I've been in therapy for a while, but I've never stayed with a therapist for more than a year or so. I've always hit a plateau point where I feel like the therapy isn't doing anything for me anymore... where I feel like I've maxed out what I can reap from that one person. But with Catherine I feel like I'm constantly learning and growing, and my relationship with her has grown stronger and more comfortable, as opposed to stale and icky (as it has with many other therapists). For me, she strikes a perfect balance of critique/questioning, support/validation, and guidance/advice -- in other words, she prods and pushes me AND supports and encourages me AND offers thoughtful guidance and advice AND helps me listen to and trust myself -- and she gracefully shifts gears between these different approaches as I need them. Whether I need to vent for an hour or feel I have nothing to say at all, I always feel like she's in my corner in an unconditional and nonjudgemental way. She also approaches everything in such a holistic way -- always cognizant of the relationship between mind, body, and spirit. She's open to and experienced in different modalities (e.g., talk therapy, EMDR) and it's clear she's always learning and incorporating the latest research into her work. I genuinely am so grateful to have found her and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone in search of a therapist."
