Why I Remain Out of Network

I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not accept insurance directly. Practicing out of network allows me to provide treatment based on your needs rather than insurance documentation and treatment requirements. This offers greater privacy, flexibility, and individualized care, and allows me to use specialized treatments such as EMDR without limitations imposed by insurance companies.

Health Insurance: Patients are encouraged to know their out-of-network benefits and to understand their deductibles before investing in treatment.  Please review fees and policies before requesting an appointment.

Fees

  • Psychotherapy Session, 50 minutes: $220

  • Psychotherapy Session, 90 minutes: $325

  • EMDR Intensive Format, 3 hours: $620

Payment

Payment is due at the conclusion of each session and accepted by cash, check, credit card, or Zelle.

For credit card payments, I use Ivy Pay, a payment system built specifically for psychotherapists and their clients, accepting debit cards, credit cards, HSA, and FSA accounts. Before our first session, you'll receive a text invitation to set up your payment method — I ask that this be completed at least 24 hours in advance. The process is quick, HIPAA-secure, and confidential. For future sessions, you'll receive a text notification when a charge is made, along with the option to view your receipt. I do not keep card information on file directly; it's securely stored through Ivy Pay.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations and rescheduling require 48 hours' (2 business days') notice or the full session fee will be charged.

Sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis unless other arrangements have been discussed.
